Why Gary Vee’s VF will Succeed or Fail

This account is from my own experience in Gary Vaynerchuks’s world. Some of you may have experienced it differently:

All great athletes have one, sometimes two, superpowers. Pele had his kicking power and accuracy. Gretzky had his ability to read the play on the ice. Gary Vee, he has one superpower.

There are many people smarter than him in many things, but are not even half as famous on social media. And this is because of Gary’s superpower.

Gary Vaynerchuck — Entrepreneur

Let me first summarize his professional rise from my point of view. This is what I’ve experienced as a person that has followed him back in 2015 — with some minor breaks in between. Forgive me if it’s not completely accurate.

When Gary was building his dad’s wine business, he foresaw that e-commerce was the way to go, started selling wine online before anyone else. Foresaw that Google adwords had attention and went in. He also started doing YouTube wine videos, he was relatively unknown at that time. From this point, I’m a little unclear, but he seemed to have rubbed shoulders with the right people and attended South By Southwest (SXSW). Somehow became an early investor in Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and much later, Uber. They were all start-ups back then, not like they are now. So perhaps they were just young entrepreneurs coming up together. Point is, he foresaw that these investments would go well. Made a fortune. And then he jumped at Podcasts when he foresaw that voice tech will get a lot of our attention. And then again, with Musical.ly, now TikTok. And now with NFTs. Building VeeFriends which contributed greatly to bringing more awareness to the NFT market. He probably brought you in here, he did for me.

Just like Tom Brady’s superpower is his quick decision making skills. Gary Vee’s one superpower is his ability to see where our attention is heading — and ‘going all in’ faster than most people. And that’s why, you may be smarter than him, but you just can’t beat him to it.

The Tom Brady reference was on purpose 😅.

You may also argue, that he hustles really hard, and works all the time and he loves it. There are single moms out there that work more hours than he does. No one knows them.

Some of you may also say, he has great empathy that’s his thing, high EQ. My mom, who is a retired nurse, worked at BC’s cancer hospital. She has more empathy than Gary. Have you heard of her? (She’s in my profile pic ❤️)

Back to the question in the title that caught your attention enough to read this. (Thank you by the way.) Will Gary Vee’s VF project fail?

Absolutely not because he got in too early and his entire ego is in this project. As long as you believe in NFT technology as a whole, then you can be sure that VeeFriends will not fail. And that’s why I built a project around his. If you think NFT tech is a fad, then that’s a different issue.

And… as long as he and his family stays healthy 🙏🏼.

So, no, he won’t fail. But the real question you want to ask is. What happens if something tragic happens to Gary Vee? (I pray that it doesn’t, but you see my point.)

If he can answer this question. 🚀 Fasten your seatbelts.
